| On May 24th we have our grand gala awards evening at the AmEx Stadum, we expect 250-400 guests: 6.30pm – 1.00am. Roger Black is one of the country’s most successful sportsmen having represented Great Britain for fourteen years at the highest level in the world of athletics. Roger was part of the team that clinched gold from the Americans in the 4x400m relay at the Tokyo World Championships. He also won Olympic silver, beaten only by Michael Johnson in Atlanta. Having achieved individually and as part of a team, Roger understands what it takes to become a champion and describes his ‘Five Fundamentals’ for success. |
| Agenda for the Gala Evening 6.30pm – Drinks Reception in the Focus Lounge of the AmEx Stadium 7.00pm – An audience address from, among others, the CEO & Chair of BHBPA 7.15pm – We move downstairs to the Mayo Wynne Baxter hall where we begin with a cold starter to the three course meal 8.45pm – A short presentation on the value of teamwork from our Olympic athlete 9.00pm – For each of the 11 awards categories Roger Black calls up the sponsors who will present the Winners with their trophy and certificate. 10.00pm – The band: Soul Sauce begins the first of two 40 minute sets. 1.00am – Carriages |
