| Chichester College Group’s Executive Principal, Paul Rolfe, judging this category, had this to say about Bluelite Graphics’ entry: “Bluelite Graphics are committed to enhancing their local community and are passionate about developing new talent and creating the workforce of the future. They have worked very closely with a number of local schools to provide a range of initiatives that have included mentoring and work experience opportunities. The company have gone above and beyond to ensure students get great work experience, for example they tailored the experience for one student who was colour blind.” They have been doing this for many years now. The MD Lorraine Avery told me about some of the individuals who have passed through their work placement programme, including one who is now the Managing Partner of a local law firm. They’ll be hanging their BHBiz24 certificate in this production room, proudly acknowledging the efforts of all the staff in the company who have made these placements so fruitful to the young people they have engaged with.
