PANGDEAN BARN
Pangdean is an exclusive event venue, nestled into the South Downs just outside Brighton, off the A23 near Pyecombe. From summer garden parties to awards ceremonies, team building days, board meetings, Christmas parties and more, every event is individual and organised with a personal touch from owner Nicky Currie and her experienced, professional Team.
Pangdean’s food and drink has an enviable reputation and is created from scratch, on-site, by the in-house chefs. There are no set-menus so each event food reflects the client’s brief and budget – from gourmet to street food, silver service to relaxed BBQ and family sharing to fine dining.
The whole venue is certainly a bit special and extraordinary, yet is surprisingly suitable for many budgets. We work closely with organisers throughout the planning process to create the perfect event, centered around the beautiful 300-year-old listed Barn or stunning gardens and courtyard overlooking the surrounding countryside.
During the summer we offer outdoor barbecue dining, both garden and field games, even fairground stalls! The Barn can seat up to 180 guests for a formal meal, or many more for an informal evening of music and dancing. For ceremonies and presentations there is a quality AV system and staging, and background music can be played both inside and out through our inbuilt PA.
Guests are encouraged to leave cars overnight and enjoy themselves or there is easy access for both coaches and taxis. We love hosting these events and are proud to include fellow BHBPA members Edwards, Galloways and St Peter’s and St James Hospice among our clients as well as leading local organisations like American Express, Woolovers, Sussex Police and Pyecombe Gold Club plus many of Brighton’s thriving new tech and gaming companies.
