Charlie Lewis from Ridgeview gave us a guided tour of the winery, where currently over 550,000 bottles of English sparkling wine are produced. The facilities have significantly expanded. Charlie explained historical methods used for making sparkling wine and detailed the Ridgeview technique. |
Some informal networking in the all new indoor part of the hospitality area. This room, overlooking the vineyard, also serves as a shop during the summer. Charlie explained how careful attention to pruning ensures the quality and quantity of the harvest is maintained far longer than typical in the industry. |
